I worked once again with model Pascale Claveau for this shoot in july, in a Hull neighborhood. With her short hair, she had the boyish look, so we chose something simple and feminine for the outfits. Working with Pascale is a pure delight; she is in fact one of the most talented models I have worked with. And this shoot will probably not be our last one together.

I got inspired for this shoot while I was listening to the song “Summer in the city” by Lovin Spoonful. And, of course, this summer was pretty hot and humid in Ottawa. So, I decided to make this shoot downtown in the middle of the afternoon, while the weather was the hottest. We went on top of a parking garage that was deserted, and on the patio of a local trendy restaurant. The clothes were provided by a local designer, and the hair and make-up was done by make-up artist Robin Seguin-Jeffery.
Over a month ago, I did an amazing shoot in collaboration with the talented 53 karat‘s hair stylists Nicole Thompson and Sonya Hotte, and jewelry designer Josee Robitaille. We really made a great team all together!

This week, I did a major shoot for Ottawa designer Mika Van Dromme, capturing different pieces of her collections. We did the shoot at Confederation Park, in Ottawa. Working with fashion designers is truly one of the things that I love doing most. I also want to thank hair stylist Adrian Brown, make-up artist Robin Seguin-Jeffery, and the models, who did excellent jobs! Here are some photos from the shoot. There’s more to come!

Last night in Gatineau was the hair / beauty salon 53 Karat‘s first year anniversary. The salon organized a fashion show with the hair and make-up creations of their hair stylists and make-up artists, the clothes of designer Bulzeye Couture and tattoos by Studio 666. It was a pleasure to work with Nancy, an Ottawa upcoming model. There was two parts to her photo shoot; one African style beauty shoot in studio, and a shoot outdoors near a lake. The make-up was by Robin Seguin-Jeffery, and I must admit, she did a wonderful job, as usual.
