Engagement shoot at the park

I did this engagement shoot with a lovely couple in the park of Lac Leamy, Gatineau. This place is perfect for photos; it inspires me every time. I used a shallow depth of field for most of the photos, and I played around with the colors in some of the photos.

Studio Beauty shoot

I recently worked with Ottawa models Joanna Lepiesza and Jessica Efole for a beauty photo shoot in studio. Tricia Minga did the make-up for the two models.

Shoot with Nancy

It was a pleasure to work with Nancy, an Ottawa upcoming model. There was two parts to her photo shoot; one African style beauty shoot in studio, and a shoot outdoors near a lake. The make-up was by Robin Seguin-Jeffery, and I must admit, she did a wonderful job, as usual.

Photo shoot with DJ Steve Martin

A couple of weeks ago I did a photo shoot with local DJ Steve Martin, in order to promote the DJs of Fresh Beat at festival “La Foire Brayonne” in Edmundston, New Brusnwick. View the flyer. Steve is also from Edmundston, so it is really cool to work with people who come from the same city as me! His music, and the music of the other DJs of Fresh Beat, is also something to discover.

Test shoot with Anne-Michele

Here is a test shoot I did with Anne-Michele. We went at three different spots in Chelsea to do this shoot, near the Gatineau Park. There are a lot of great places to shoot around there. I took those photos with my macro lens, and it actually does a pretty good job for portraits!

Random portraits taken in New Brunswick

I had a lot of fun just shooting people I met while I was on vacation. I used shallow depth of field most of the time as I wanted to create a certain style. At the editing of those photos, I also tried some new things. It find that it’s always super fun and inspiring to experiment and try new things when I get the chance.

The first photo is actually one of the first that is going to go in my “Time FACES” project, which will represent elderly people holding a photo of themselves being younger. Stay tuned. ;)

Time in New Brunswick

I went back to New Brunswick for a vacation and hung out with a few friends, including my friend Jimmy who is also a photographer. We shot around the city of Bathurst for fun, and here are the photos that came out.
